August Monthly Meeting – A Visit to the Land of the Incas!

We are excited to welcome David Eisenberg to be our speaker this month. He is the chair of the Verdugo Hills Sierra Club Group in Southern California. He is a life member and has been leading Sierra Club events since 1986. He is also newsletter editor and the Salesforce Key User for the Verdugo Hills Group. David also volunteers for The Huntington Library Botanic Gardens, The Autry National Center, The Glendale Environmental Coalition, and The Glendale Historical Society.

David will be talking about the Inca Civilization, Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, and Bolivia. Incas did not use money, wheels, or writing yet they maintained 25,000 miles of trails and created buildings that could not be totally destroyed by the Spanish.

Can’t wait to see you online!
