This is a 3-hour float down 5.5 miles of the tranquil, crystal-clear Weeki Wachee River will take your breath away with its unspoiled natural beauty and wildlife.

Much of your picturesque journey will be underneath the shade of cypress and oak trees, and Florida’s distinctive palms. Along the way, you may find yourself paddling alongside endangered West Indian manatees. You may also see turtles, otters, storks and pelicans, and underwater marine life in water so clear, you’d swear you were in an aquarium.

Bring lunch and plenty of water in non-disposable containers. No plastic baggies allowed and no plastic water bottles. Instead, put lunch in your tupperwear and reusable water bottle.

Weeki Wachee Springs is located in Spring Hill, Florida, at the intersection of S.R. 50 and Hwy. 19. This is 2 hours west of Orlando.
