Seminole-Wekiva Trail is built on bed of the former Orange Belt Railway. The Seminole-Wekiva Trail links Altamonte Springs, Longwood, and Lake Mary – past residential and semi-rural areas, shops and restaurants. This Central Florida biking trail links residential and commercial areas and is popular with the local residents for commuting as well as for recreation. This trail is famous for the trail art along the way which are blocks of painted fence with quotes and music done by a local artist. Total ride is about 17 miles. We’ll stop for a drink at Panera Bread then continue back. Wildlife is often seen in this trail-including bear! This is a leisurely ride to get out of the house after we do our home improvement projects on Sat.
